|
|
A secure online payment system for the payment of membership fees, via PayPal, has now been added to our website. This facility can be used by members to renew their membership subscriptions for season 2010/1 with effect from the AGM in November 2010.
Please note that renewal subscriptions are due to be paid by 31st December 2010.
Also, those who have worn the club jersey this year (literally, or in spirit), and who have not yet paid their membership fees, are invited to do so now, using this facility.
The Membership page of the website has been changed to cater for this system.
PayPal is the method many clubs use to collect their membership fees and is an efficient way of collecting, controlling and accounting for such payments. It eases significantly the administration and its use in this context would be appreciated by the Club.
Any member who does not have a PayPal account can easily set one up (Google PayPal and register), or use that of a relative. Its simple, quick and effective.
Such payments will trigger an acknowledgement email to the member, thanking them for the payment and asking for their details to be checked/updated.
The existing club officials and office bearers will shortly receive a more detailed, background note about this system, for their information. However, if anyone has any queries, can they please let me know. Thanks.

The 'Subscribe' button on the how to join page doesn't appear to be linking correctly.
It takes me to my paypal, but it doesn't come up with any payment details at all.
Whats the email address for the Albert paypal account and do you want it sent as 'Personal' payment or a 'Purchase(services)'? |

Hi Paul, good to see you're trying!
James and I made changes to the system this morning, to allow for credit card payments. I'll have a look and keep you posted. Please bear with us! Thanks.

The problem now appears to be fixed, Paul, so you can either pay by paypal, debit card or credit card. What a choice!
Please let me know when you do it, so I can monitor things, given the fact that the system has just been changed.
Thanks for your patience.
