I forgot to raise this at the agm, but what does everyone think about defining the timing of the regular club meetings, for example, the first and third Friday of each month?
Otherwise, if you don't get along to a meeting, it's easy to forget when the next one is.
Answers please, on a post card (on this forum)

Dennis, you are clearly an intelligent man with vision, no doubt wasted on our club! It would reduce the number of meeting from 26 per year to 24, which I don't see as a problem. The current fortnightly arrangement suited me when I worked shifts because I worked a 3 weekly pattern which roughly meant I could make 2 out of 3 meetings. Scott is the only other person I know of working shifts, so I'd be keen to hear his thoughts. I agree it is easy to loose track of meeting dates if you miss one and now that I work more civilised hours, I would be up for your suggestion. _________________ Second place = best loser! |

OK, unless there are any strong objections, let's change to 'the new system' from December, ie meet in the clubroom on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month.
