Folks, tonight's meeting degenerated into a discussion about the distance between Larkhall and Pebbles (you didn't miss much). Tommy reckoned it was 80miles... one way! Keith and The Slab reckoned it was forty. Bets were placed and I was tasked with looking at Autoroute to calculate the distance. It's 36.1m. I thought I'd save Tommy money by calculating it in kilometres, but it's still only 58.1km, so Keith and The Slab still win...... shame on them for taking money off a vulnerable pensioner though |

Very noble of you John. To be fair to Tommy, he did say his his route took him through Skirling which must have added a few miles to the trip. Ironically, going via STIRLING makes it just over 80 miles....... I think this has all just been a misunderstanding. |
