Strangely 'I quite enjoyed the second time round from Hamilton through Bothwell when the roads were quieter. The climb from B/well Bridge on the damp roads and fading light was quite pleasant |

Last night was a first for me - never had to take refuge from the rain in a bus shelter before.
And for those of you who might mock, we spotted a big beardy guy in a boat full of animals floating down Powburn Toll as we sheltered behind the plexiglass.
Next time I'll be fitting a pair of Goodyear Grand Prix S to the bike - after all, they are a "major breakthrough in road safety..."

Well done to the intrepid six who lasted the course. |
