Good to see old and new face's out today 12 guy's in total, good steady run apart from the braidwood where chipo set a fast pace from the start and also the finish ! Must be the chicken and milk shake diet he is on, at the top we all regroup and carry on to the cafe at polekemmet park west lothain where we meet jocky johnstone and friend jay, New to the club and the club run's was scott from uddingston who did well to hang in and reported to myself that he realy enjoy the run and the company and that he is looking forward to the next one all in all good steady mls and people's fitness improving week on week to the next one The slab. _________________ It's better to burn out than fade away... |

Agreed John, good to see so many out.
From Forh to Polkemmet was a new road for me, enjoyed the rolling section down to the A71 junction not so much the stretch before and the cafe was as advertised. |

Six guy's left the larkhall club rooms in testing conditions -1 to head down to biggar cafe for lunch,we decided to stay on the main roads due to ice, ect great club run avg speed 16.8mph fastest this year all the guy's work well together and kept there discipline to arrive at the cafe in good condition, after lunch we headed back via carnwath, carstairs, lanark, clyde valley, larkhall,uddingston, great mls in good company 75mls for some of the lad's here's to next week and let's hope for a good turn out on what is some great winter training as there's no point in waiting for the summer to get fit,if we get one Cheers The slab. _________________ It's better to burn out than fade away... |

Don't know about arriving in good condition - quote of the day has to be The Slab, referring to me on a particularly testing climb out of Rigside - "Aye... ...you were sweating like a butcher's donkey!"
Great run, though. Looking forward to the delights of West Calder and Pedal Power's new store next Sunday! |
