In preparation for the longer time trials coming up, we've been doing 4+hour rides. This Sunday I'm doing larkhall-glen taggart-sanquhar-mennock pass-apache-Crawfordjohn-larkhall. 80-85 miles with a fair amount of climbing. If anyone else interested, leaving club hut 8am. Me ,Paul and John C so far.

Brilliant run today. Me, John, Paul, Contador and Willie left from Larkhall with Scott meeting us further on. Willie left us after Glen Taggart and a stiff headwind made it tough all the way to Sanquhar, but the benefit of the tailwind was felt on the way up the Mennock and Apache. Nobody wanted to go all the way up to the golf ball(bet Ricky would have went!). Great day and a few pair of jelly-like legs will be felt tonight.

Great run today 91mls, 17mph avg speed, 45mls max speed, great company good cafe stop and a true roadman's training ground if you want to get fit this is a great work out looking forward to the next one so get in there and join us . the slab.
