Tomorrow night.
I'll be there, bikes bottom bracket sounds like it's not far off exploding(or whatever they do) though.
Although, if it's a crap turnout then i'm away to do something else. |

Good news: Weather is scorchio, great night for it.
Bad News: Hit my gimpy knee at work today and it's swollen back up again, so I'm out for tonight =[ |

Was a good night for it, good turnout as well. Around 12 of us I think.
A good strong effort from Andy, who only collected his first road bike on Monday. Was lapped on the course, but he went on to finish all 5 laps. And the good news is, he'll be back out with the club. |

Yes great effort by Andy. It's not easy plodding round on your own but at least his saddle should have been a bit more comfortable after it had been tightened
You also did well to latch on to the back of our group. |

That was my first time this year and I forgot how good this event is.... won't be missing one for the rest of the season!
Group timings were spot on - good to see so many new faces too _________________ Second place = best loser! |

Much better turnout tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed it, although the sprint finish was rather unpleasant.
After getting destroyed in the sprint finish by Ricky, my sadistic pleasure was seeing him on his knees plodding to Dave's house where he consumed 2 energy bars, a gel, about 4 choc biscuits and them still needed a lift home. The bonk is a terrible thing! _________________ It never gets easier, you just get faster. |

Yeah, I think the saddle will have made a difference! Well spotted for that one Derek.
Thanks Jim, I just went for it, even managed a turn on the front (!!!). That hill remains my nemesis though.
Ricky, Stevie and Keith were another matter though... tried to go with them, never really made contact, and the elastic completely snapped within a mile.
I, for one, enjoyed it out there. Just hope the Edinburgh Tattoo doesn't prevent me from attending any more Wednesday nights this year. |

Was a good run thats for sure. As a complete newby its amazing the difference sitting behind some guys and staying with them can make to your speed. If only I could sit with them for a bit longer
See you all next week .
