William Brian and myself took part on the west ferry course with a side head wind on the outward leg with the opposite on the way back, in all, really not a bad day and the better times reflected this.
William got a 27,25 while i got a 24,14.
I don't know William and have never seen him but he was down as an Albert rider, so if you do ride for the Albert William come and say hello next time we won't bite i promise.
But did we have fun, with legs like jelly and my tongue dragging along the tarmac, you bet we did!.... |

I'm still a fairly new member and am just making a come back after years of knee trouble, so not too unhappy with my time, should improve as the season goes on. I certainly agree about the wind, was very naggy on the way out, so just tried to keep it steady. I found it quite cold and rode with a headband, long sleeves, tights and overshoes. Apologies for not saying hello, had to rush off after finishing and was off number 12, so was probably gone by the time you came back in. Congratulations on your ride.
