Second round of Sup6r Six series.
B race for 4th cats, Vets etc.
A race for E,1,2,3.
If you got a start in first round then you'll be pretty likely to get one for this too.
Route quite different to Gifford one, few lumpy bits.
Entry closes on 20th March, but get them done now, as your more likely to get a start.
No need to post entry, do it on Entrycentral |

Ricky is doing a report, so you've got that to look forward to at some point.
Was a good race, probably slightly too short/too flat of a run in as the last 14/15miles were all flat, so you had a bunch of 40 odd riders left all thinking they were in with a chance of winning the sprint.
I'd already nearly been taken out by some idiot about 20 miles in. Was a flat section, going about 22-25mph, lots of space in the bunch, and this fandan still managed to come steaming up and smack my bars so that my wheel was 90degrees to to the direction i was travelling in, saved it once(goodness knows how) only for him to hook them again straight away, saved that and had to shoulder barge the guy away from me to stay up.
Needless to say, coming into Helensburgh with a bunch of 40-odd, nothing was getting away and there was increasingly desperate and dodgy manoeuvres going on.
Having had my bars smacked a few more times by people with a distinct lack of spatial awareness I decided that it really wasn't worth it, so I just pedalled in mid bunch not even contesting the sprint, watching somebody doing a neat somersault on to the grass verge!
Ricky was in there no doubt loving every mental second of it.
Darren worked well with the group he got in after the climbs in the first part of the race and big Contador managed to finish this time!
Looking forward to the next one |
