Following the Club run last Sunday when Aileen was able to join us at the last minute, the tandem is now being held locally.
Craig and I hope to use it on the Club run on Sunday, for pilot practice. We will be spending a lot of time a the back of the bunch. What's new, you might say?
It's a good time to build up the list of volunteers for both collecting and returning Aileen, and piloting the tandem. Would those who would like to do either, or both, of these things when Aileen is available please post here if your name is not in the table on the 'Club Members' page. Practice sessions can then be arranged. Thank you.

Craig handled the tandem very well on Sunday and he well deserved his pilot's license!
Going up the hill past Lesmahagow, I told him straight - "if you need me, let me know".
Maybe Craig could give an encouraging message to others who are thinking of doing this. Over to you, Craig!
When I told him that the last time I was on the back of a tandem was 1971, he thought for a second, then said, "That was the year I was born!"
Funny how the years pass, init?

Its a workout and a half, the only annoying thing is the newspaper that Dennis was reading flapping about behind you. |
