As not to clash with the tour de trossachs the royal albert cc hill climb will take place on sunday 10th october meeting at the club rooms at 10am then cycling to the bottom of millheaugh brae to start the race at 10 30am I would also like to add that the tour de trossachs is a great event to race in, or just to go and watch and take in the action maybe we could get a few club members together for a training run and take the race in it's a great day out all the best the slab. _________________ It's better to burn out than fade away... |

We will meet at the clubroom at 10am then cycle to the bottom of Millheugh Brae to start the race at 10.30am.
For those who want to time their training runs on it in advance, the start is on the rise between the roundabout and bridge, before you turn over the river to climb the hill. The finish is about a mile up the road, at a sub-station fence a few yards before the road junction. The good news is that there is a downhill section about half way up!
Last year's results:-
1st scott anderson time 3m 53.09sec
2nd jim paton 3m 59.04sec (1st vet)
3rd keith anderson 4m 15.15sec
4th paul ramsey 4m 20.28sec
5th derek hamilton 4m 21.33sec
6th john campbell 4m 41.38sec
7th steven brennan 4m 42.09sec
8th vincent lunny 4m 47.15sec
9th stuart duncan 4m 59.39sec
10th tommy murray 6m 59.04sec _________________ Second place = best loser! |
