Good turnout today considering a lot of the albert cc were doing the Glasgow - endinburgh, 12 guys started out today and headed off for todays run The glentaggart climb just outside douglas village, all the guys put in a great effort on the climb working well together, some of the group also decided to test the legs going up the climb hitting the front and setting a good pace was dave smith with thommo hanging on staying that way untill the top The rest of us came up in small groups Meeting at the top we all got together and headed back down the desent and on towards blackwood cafe to stop for lunch a great days cycling all in, best effort today must go to new guy Arthur who went all the way round on a mountain bike and back home to glasgow untill next The Slab. _________________ It's better to burn out than fade away... |

It was tough going into the wind today so good effort Arthur considering the distance was a good bit more than you are used to. |
