Day for the hard men today what with the strong winds and heavy rain throughout the day, Good turnout today with 12 guy's out for todays training run taking in a few tough climbs Rigside, Wiston, Carnwath, ect, Had 2 puntures today (The Slab) 1 at canderside toll and another one 2mls up the road ! Thanks to les Mckenzie for his help and spare inner tube oh and he got to try his new air cartidge pump, as me and les were fixing puntures at the side of the road the rest of the group headed off into the distance fair play as it was to cold and wet to be hanging around on that note myself and les made good process on the road as we arrive at the cafe in Biggar avg 16mph, after lunch we all headed off together heading back towards carluke where all the guys regroup and headed home via the clyde valley, another great days training untill next week The Slab. _________________ It's better to burn out than fade away... |
