The club is taking part in The Round Stra�ven 50 organised by the Friends of Strathaven Scouts, on Sunday 19th August.
Leaving the clubhouse as per usual 9 for 9:15, the event starts from Strathaven between 10 and 11am.
Entry is a suggested donation of �15 to ride this signposted event with refreshments available at the town halls in Sandford & Glassford and at Skeoch junction, with further refreshments available at the finish.
Entry forms will be available in the clubhouse to save any faffing about at the start.

Hope for a good turn on sunday from the royal albert cc for the strathaven 50 why not post if you are wanting to come along all welcome The Slab.

| Hope you have a great time guys - the weather forecast is great for Sunday. I'll be out early on my tod as my boy has an athletics match at noon, so hope all the Albertos have a successful trip. |

Great turnout today with 14 guy's meeting at club rooms in larkhall to cycle up to strathaven to start the strathaven 50 At the start in strathaven we met up with more albert cc riders, 4 new riders out with the club today mark evans and friends chris, andy, the youngest being greg who is only 16 but did great to get to the finish, a great event with plenty of food stops and at the finish refreshments were made available, also those who finish the event got a dales goody bag filled with gels water bottle energy bars ect, It was great to see wee tommy murray make it the full way round even if tommy keeps telling us he not fit ! plenty of good mls with myself and some of the guy's covering 82mls on the day untill next week The Slab.

Can't believe I had to work again today and miss what sounds like a great day in the saddle.. What makes it even worse is I have had no call outs. Are now looking through the Strathaven facebook site for any pictures of the Albertos. Hopefully see you guys on Wednesday night.
