My offer still holds to take my car to share travel. Need to acquire a couple of roof bar bike holders though. If I can I could take 3 plus me and luggage. Just on my way back from France where my frame fractured completely across bottom bracket. It's now stripped and frame is in the bin. Haven't done any miles for best part of 2 weeks so desperate to get back home and back to training. Will need to shed a few pounds before Bealach!

Still on the ferry arriving at Portsmouth soon. Won't be home till tomorrow afternoon. Will need to get out Sunday night to cure my withdrawal symptoms. Hope to get out for longer ride on Monday and start August with a bang...

Just checked the Hands On Events website - entries are closed and no new entries are being accepted. Capacity of 600 riders has been reached.

It's all went a little Graham Norton here..... Rolling Eyes

Me and Rik are going up in my car. If someone can take the bike, I could get another two in. If not, I'll put the seats down and take it in the rear..... Confused

I've got roof bars and 2 roof mounted bike carriers. If I can get another couple of roof carriers then I can take another 3 people. Otherwise, I might manage another 2 by split folding the rear seat and putting a bike with the wheels off into the back. I have an estate so there should still be plenty of room for luggage.
