Excellent report, Derek, and thanks for that.

It would be interesting to know what all the riders who have taken part in any of the development road races at Auchlochan have learned from the experience so far. As Derek indicates in his report, it's a good nursery for the bigger road races, but what specific learning points do people feel have emerged?

(apart from screwdrivers and lap counting Wink )

Looking forward to hearing from ya all.

Dennis

With an 8 minute gap to the front group (that's always got some good riders), the chasing bunch can't mess about and has to work together to have any chance of catching them Embarassed Should be 7 mins this week!! Wink That, and burst a gut to hold on up the hill!!

What have I learned....

Don't go to the very back of the group, especially on corners.

Don't sit on weaker/tired riders wheels when the pace goes up, its difficult to get back on if they let a gap open up.

When Stuart McGregor attacks..... PLF
