The annual run in memory of our former fellow Royal Albert member Sam Allison will take place on Monday 2nd August at the Police Training Centre at Jackton - 1800(ish) for a 1830 start. For those who didn't know Sam, it will be five years to the day since he was killed, through no fault of his own, whilst out training on his bike. By now Sam would have retired from the police for a few years and his intention was to train full-time. I shudder to think how good he would have became. As usual it will be a bunch ride over the Eaglesham Moor, stopping for a bar of chocolate before choosing a variety of routes and pace for the road back. Sandra, Sam's widow will be there and appreciates the support from the Club. Thanks

| THE SLAB THE PIRATE THE ICE MAN WILL BE CYCLING OVER FROM VIEWPARK TO JACKTON TO TAKE PART IN THE MEMORIAL RUN FOR SAM NOW IN IT'S 5TH YEAR WILL MEET YOU GUYS FROM THE ALBERT OVER THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO MEET UP AND WE CAN CYCLE OVER TOGETHER ALL THE BEST THE SLAB. |

Thanks for a great turnout tonite guys. The highlight was Charlie Duffy following a Harley Davidson at 50mph through Jackton, proving once and for all that he and Smudger are not in fact inseperable!!
