It's with a broken heart that I have to report that my Dad, Big Jack Campbell, Die this morning at 7am in a larkhall care home with all his family at his bedside Thanks to all of you for your kind words and support it means a lot to me and the family God bless and I Hope to meet him in heaven one day john campbell jnr. _________________ It's better to burn out than fade away... |

So sorry to hear of Big Jacks passing, a good Albert man, he will be missed by us all.

Very sorry to hear that John. I didn't know your dad as well as many in the club but I remember a few years back he was recommended to me and when I visited his shop I found him a genuine,likeable guy. That first impression was reinforced in the few times I met him after joining the club when ,despite his poor health, his enthusiasm for the bike was obvious.Condolences to you and the rest of the family. |

John sad day ,your Dad was a big Gentleman ,helping countless lads over the years with advice on Racing and Equipment ,always a warm welcome at the shop and club ,a great Depth and Knowledge of Cycling,great sense of humour ,he will be sadly missed in Scottish Cycling. |
