Don't know if anyone looks after the forum anymore since everyone has migrated to facebook but it has been inundated with spammers over the last few months and now getting spam emails purporting to come from Royal Albert CC. ([email protected])

Can anybody sort it out or is the forum to be abandoned?

Hi Jim,

the forum is still an option for people to kept in touch with others, yes there is a huge volume of communication done via the club members on facebook as it's a easier means of communicating (for those with it) as well administering.

Yes there has been a HUGE number of spammers which has inpacted new members getting on the forum and it has become a full time job in order to remove them.

In regards to the email you received, yes the club email was hacked and used to send you a link to something, I was able to block the account before too much damage had been done so our apologise if you were targetted.
