Social Secretary, John Campbell, has asked that we all bring something along on the night as raffle prizes. I'm sure we can all think of something.
Just a reminder that Al Johnson, professional ball skills expert, will be putting on a bit of post-meal entertainment, and will also present the prizes. Our challenge is to switch Al from footie to bikie!
Douglas Campbell will act as MC, and if this doesn't inspire him to get back to racing, what will?

Thanks are due to Social Secy, John Campbell, for organising a great evening at Carrigans last night. Also to Al Johnson for a superb display of his ball skills, Douglas Campbell for announcing the winners and the ladies for organising the Raffle. Everyone really enjoyed seeing Alex, Ricky and Les putting in a good effort at the keepie uppie!
Pics of the award winners present on the night are on the Gallery. Congratuations to them all.
Personal thanks to those who were behind the surprise announcement of my name for the last award, just as I was sitting there ready to take a pic of the next prize-winner!
It meant a lot to me, but I'm sure you'll all know that. Anyway, I'll continue to do what I can to promote the club by communication and co-ordination, and encourage others to do the same.
It's been 45 years since I've had a cycling trophy to clean. Now where did I put that old tin of Silvo...

Well done Dennis a worthy winner indeed, it may have taken along time to get a cycling trophy but that first place was well worth the wait. |

Would like to echo the above comments. A great night organised by John and it was great to see Dennis rewarded for all the hard work he's done for the club over the last year. _________________ It never gets easier, you just get faster. |

Sounds like a better night than mine anyway! Congrats on the award Dennis. Hopefully you didn't need that to know your efforts are always recognised and appreciated by everyone at the club |

Thanks, guys, but the real 'stars of the show', as it were, are ALL club members who ride on club runs, take part and/or do well in races, timekeep, organise things, take minutes, light the fire, collect and pay money, provide resources, post on the forum and website, make tea, and liaise with, and support, each other to make sure things happen.
With the spirit that each of us has created in our Club, anything I have done was made that much easier!
Award winners now posted on website (see News).
