3 Albert riders in this 30 mile TT organised by Michael Devlin.
The course going from Doune to Stirling to the Kippen Roundabout and back, with the finish line at the top of the climb on the Blairdrummond to Thornhill road.
Once described by Bob Taylor with the following quote-
"Thats to steep to race up, if you hammered a nail into the road you could hang yer coat on it"
Davie Fairweather - 1:35.38
George Skinner - 1:29.50
James Skinner - 1:20:44
Tony Nugent - 1:17.16
Winner - Silas Goldsworthy - 1:03.59
Very heavy headwind towards Stirling, but the tailwind sections were worth it. |
