Myself and Keith did the Mid 50 today on a dry and relatively calm morning. Times as follows.
K. Anderson 2.02.16
S.Brennan 2.05.41
As this was an event hosted by all the clubs in The Mid Scotland region, the clubs need to send members to Marshall. Big thanks to John for getting out his bed in the middle of the night ie 4.30am to help at the event.
Another mention must go to TT legend Carlos Rise who made the journey from Shetland without a seatpost or seat but still rode the event and finished with a 2hr 4 mins. Questions were raised whether this is allowed but it was found to be legal under UCI regulations because the front tip of saddle was 560 miles behind the bottom bracket.
