|
|
Hi Everyone!!!
Hope you are all well.
A number of new (and not so new) members are keen to order their Royal Albert kit. Unfortunately we need a minimum order to take this forward. We are 4 tops and 8 bottoms away from a new order (we need 10 of each). If anyone else is needing new or additional kit please can you let us know asap? Once we have the numbers up we'll get the kit ordered.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to get in touch.
Cheers

Further to the Chairman's Appeal of a few days ago, we now have orders as follows:
Tops (Jerseys) - 10
Bottoms (shorts, tights, skinsuits) - 5 (this includes one skinsuit)
Therefore, all we need, to be able to send the Club order away (minimum order) is 5 pairs of 'bottoms' (as defined above). Any further orders of tops would of course be welcome.
Can Club members please hold their existing stock of shorts etc up to a bright light, check the wear and tear, and get their orders in if necessary!
The sooner we reach the minimum order levels, the sooner Members will get their kit and be able to show off the Club colours and advertise the Club. Especially me!
Thank you.

Just a thought! would the club be able to make up the order as some members who have some of their kit in good order, so don't need any right now, but say in six months or so may require some shorts.or even a top. Jack Campbell used to do this and keep them in the shop, it's always good to have a few items in stock and personally i think this would be the way to go as long as there is some money left!!! and if so lets do it as the sponsors are paying to get the kit seen on the open road. |

Sounds a good idea, Alan. I'll raise it at the next Committee meeting and, in the meantime, we'll see how the orders go.

Latest news is 13 'tops' and 6 'bottoms' ordered and thanks to all those who have placed orders.
Just a wee reminder, though, that we need a minimum order of 10 of each so the 'bottom' line is that we need four more!

Just 2 'bottoms' to go. Let's do it tomorrow to meet the supplier's deadline!

If we haven't yet met the minimum order, could the club use the funds for the remaining two bottoms as Alan suggested? Rather than waiting for a committee meeting as it will be too late by that stage.
I'm sure the club would recoup the money once the order has been delivered. |

There has been a last minute rush in kit orders and we have met the min. order. I was thinking about getting half a doz tops or so for stock and not bothering with shorts as tops are the most popular for new members etc, any thoughts post asap. This kit is well made and the price is good so you have 1 day left,i will be putting the order in on Sunday night. |

A few extra tops for stock seems like a sensible idea to me. |

Good idea, everyone, and we could advertise the stock on the website in due course.
Just to let everyone know, the suppliers, Kalas have kindly agreed to supply Aileen McGlynn with items of Club kit free of charge.
She will be wearing a Club skinsuit at the British Para-Cycling Championships in September.
Must say, am looking forward to looking cool in Club kit myself...
At last, I hear you say...
