Great turnout today with 14 guy's meeting at the club hut in larkhall, as we left larkhall and headed towards the old A74 and onto glentaggart we met another 2 royal albert riders willy young and colin pratt who had been chasing us since they left larkhall 5mins late, they where glad to see us at the top of the climb, a good group of guy's working well together, only on the climbs did the guy's really test there fitness with a select group working well together on the glentaggart and the apache pass, after regrouping at the top of both climbs we all cycle in together stoping at crawford to refuel at the local shop and then we all carry on to the pathhead cafe in blackwood for lunch, it was great to see a big bunch out together even the 3 new guy's The 2 stevens and sean enjoying the day all saying i'll be back untill next week The slab. ps next sunday's club run will be the strathaven 50 meeting at the club hut at 9.00 to cycle up to strathaven to sign on see club web site for details. Great run today guys. Good to see a big bunch of Albertos running at a good pace.. Great day..

I enjoyed the run in the sun today. Good to see the new guys get round with ease. Thought Sean was particularly impressive but I guess a jaunt round the Leadhills is nothing to someone more used to cycling round the world.
