The A race is for anyone whos 3rd cat or above. For us 4th cats there is the B race all to ourselves.

Good opportunity for any newcomers to start racing. 40miles, 5 laps of an 8 mile circuit, no big climbs to speak of. Ricky, Contador and I have already entered.

Oh, and you don't have to enter every round of the series to race in this.

For any of you sitting there thinking 'Oh i'm not fit enough yet', just do it! Worst that can happen is you get dropped, but you won't be alone.

The best way to get race fit is to actually race. Gwan! Very Happy

Managed to get that Saturday off work, so I've entered. Heard the field will be selected after the closing date of the 20th as it's over subscibed already.

Nice one Steven. Apparently, 4th cats who haven't participated in the series before get priority for places anyway, so you should be ok too hopefully!

Dereks away on the first of his 5 annual holidays when this race is on. Dunno about Keith.

Big Contador has entered too, so thats 5 who have put entries in so far Very Happy

You got Willie Walkers number? Should see if he fancies it, said he wanted to start racing.

Me, Ricky,Contador and Darren Stewart all got a start. Can't see Paul's name, even on reserve list. Full start sheet on Edinburgh RC website.
