Just go on Thursday and when I ..... eh ....... 'peel off' you could just sit up and we'll toddle along for a few miles - rather than get a total kicking?

Very Happy

The bundy part of the ride was only bit that went alright for me yesterday.

Fell off the bike coming down MY PATH Laughing , then i spent about 2 minutes in the valley riding 1 handed whilst trying to rip my rear light off as it was flapping about all over the shop but was screwed into the clamp.

Then, a rear puncture on the way home, fitted new tube after a fight with the tyre, pinched the *#%$@# and had to fit another, as i stood there shivering away drenched to the bone and with a face full of mud(stubble=mud magnet)!

Anyhoo, forgot i have to head into town after work tomorrow so i won't be able to make it back in time for the bundy tomorrow anyway!

I think you meant to say that you 'were keeping your powder dry' Derek, different story at the weekend i'll bet Very Happy

Nah it's not too late at all Scott. It's entry on the day, and just email him beforehand if your wanting to make sure you will get a start incase too many turn up.

If you want to leave it until after Saturday then i'll email the organiser with names of everyone who wants to do the 1st of May race, or see if he is taking any names on Saturday.

I'm easy RikEH! Wink Are you going M8 / M77 way, if so you could pick me up. If not, I'll make my own way there. What RikEH's not saying is that he dropped me too the other night Embarassed

Sounds good Rikeh. What time could you want me to be ready for?

Nah i wasn't home until after 7 so had to sack the bundy tonight. Trying to motivate myself to have an hour on the turbo, we'll see.

I'm staying off the bike tomorrow, need some sleep more than anything. Maybe Derek is free and you two can perfect your hand-holding technique for Saturday?
