Two APR races from TLI. One on 10th April, one on 1st May.

Anybody else up for one or both? I'm definitely up for the 1st May one, would do 10th April if others are.

Circuit is here:
http://www.mapmyride.com/route/gb/North%20Ayrshire/344126773171538427

6 laps of a 9mile circuit. 10am start.

I'm racing Sunday 11th so I'll give the one on Sat 10th a miss as my wee fragile legs can only take one doing per weekend but I would be up for the one in May.

Paul, I'm up for both - looks a flat circuit! I agree with RikEH, some tactics required!

Good stuff. Can get it organised with who is all going at club night on friday?

Organiser asks if you can email him if you are wanting to compete, so he can get an idea of numbers expected etc.

[email protected]

Think there are a couple of lumps in it Derek, but so long as their aren't gales blowing straight into my face i really don't care how hilly it is Very Happy

I'll be at the Club on Friday. Is there one of those 'map my ride' thingys for the course we did yesterday.... although no map without the weather could do that course justice... Mad

I made one just for you Derek:

Try resizing the elevation profile to make it a bit smaller, gives a better impression of the actual climbs/flats etc that way.

Thanks for that Paul, good tip re resizing the map to make it look hillier - that Barrmill one doesn't look so flat now! Turns out it was just the screen on my laptop that's flat Confused

Haha yea! Can also make the graph taller to help as well.

If its any consolation the hills do look slightly smaller than on the Stewarton circuit Very Happy

Paul, did you tell the Organiser that there were at least 3 Albertos coming to the event? According to his post on the Braveheart, his projected numbers mean some who turn up on the day may not get a start.

http://www.braveheartfund.com/community/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6704

Can anyone else wanting to race at this one stick a post here ASAP, so Paul can update the Organiser with exact numbers. Thanks

Oops, no, only said for myself. I know Rikeh has already emailed him anyway.

I'll fire away an email saying will be us 3 definitely.

Steven and Keith definitely can't do it, i'll call the red rocket tomorrow to see if he wants to do it, don't think he has internet access at the moment.

Anybody else wanting to race post here asap!

Emailed last night so he knows the 3 of us will be there anyway.

Cheers, feel like i worked myself harder last night though, legs feel a bit heavy today. Probably normal because there was nowhere to hide with so few people making it out!

Might give the Bundy a miss on thursday and just have an easier long ride so i don't feel like crap on saturday, at least for the first few miles Very Happy
