As one of the pilots who, from time to time, rides the tandem with Aileen on her training runs, I would encourage all of you to try to attend this function.

You all know her name, but come along and hear from the lady herself what she has achieved and how she has gone about it. She is a dedicated full-time athlete who has translated her dreams into reality, and is a fantastic example to follow.

Having been at this function last year, I have to say that there are also many other good reasons for supporting this event. You know, like the food (and ok, the drink), the company, ra dancin' and, most of all, to support all the vets who have achieved great things in the time trialling world.

Oh yes, and to support your very own John Campbell who has, as usual, done a heap of work in organising the event.
