Hi Folks, I have just entered the Tour of Britain, Tour Ride which is a 100 mile sportive that takes place the day before the Tour begins and follows the same route as the the Stage 1 race between Glentress and Drumlanrig Castle via various Borders towns. I did this event last year (albeit a shorter and different route) and it was really well organised. Cost is �30 to British Cycling members. You can also book transport between the two venues if necessary and there is also a 50 mile option. Cheers. Ian
